Branson Veterans Task Force is dedicated to honoring the nation's brave soldiers and military personnel year round, done in part by providing festivities such as Veterans Homecoming held during Veterans Week in November, Independence Day celebration, patriotic parades, Memorial Day ceremonies and more. “There's no scam here," declares entertainer Tony Orlando, the heart and soul behind the annual Veterans Day celebrations. Branson launched its "A Veterans Homecoming" in 1995. It has met with fabulous success and is the nation’s largest Veterans Day celebration with related events that have become a permanent fixture of the community's annual festivities. Mission statement: The Branson Veterans Task Force is dedicated to empower the Branson area communities to promote an environment of patriotic pride and dignity to recognize and honor our Nation's veterans and their families, while empowering others to do the same.

A few words from Dr. Dale Smith, Chairman BVTF

“It is with honor and pride and on behalf of the Branson Veterans Task Force Board of Directors that I accept the designation by STAND to make the Branson Veterans Task Force one of its four non-profit groups to receive funds from the For the Troops CD project. STAND’s goal to rally America behind our troops is comparable to the Task Force’s mission to promote an environment of patriotic pride and dignity to recognize and honor our Nation's veterans and their families, while empowering others to do the same. We wish STAND much success in this noble project,” said Dr. Dale Smith, chairman of the board of directors of the Branson Veterans Task Force.
